Good morning! Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? I am super excited because Jonathan and I are headed to Spokane for the weekend! The annual Bloomsday race is on Sunday in Spokane so we plan to run it. As most of you know, I am not a runner but my sister and I plan to run as much as we can and then just have fun walking the rest. I am also really excited to see all our friends one more time before our big move!
Here is what I have been crushing on lately. I LOVE this striped pencil skirt from J. Crew! It’s just so beautiful and you could wear it with so many different things!

Ps. Sorry if you got an email last night about this post, my blog was acting strange! Have a great weekend!
Hello! How is your week going so far? I am trying to get back into the swing of things at school. It is so crazy that this is my last quarter! Time is just flying by! Today I have another J. Crew Looks We Love post for you. As you have probably noticed, I am obsessed with this column on their website. I just think it is a great way to pair outfits and get fashion inspiration. Check out the rest of their outfits here!
I like this outfit because it would be pretty easy to recreate with stuff from my own closet. I love the fun coral colors for spring, and those sandals are fabulous!
Good morning friends! It’s Friday! Today I wanted to share a fun (and cheap) spring break outfit with you guys. I have found that I always have a hard time transitioning my wardrobe to the next season so I spent some time on my vacation experimenting with spring outfits. It seems like right when I get one season figured out, we are on to the next one. Also, sometimes spring can be tricky because it is both warm and cold depending on the time of day. Here is an outfit that I found to be both comfortable and cute for the spring weather.

Hi friends! Remember that post I did awhile back about fashion on a budget? Well, today I have another example from a cute outfit highlighted on J. Crew’s Looks We Love that you can create from items in your own closet.
I just love this outfit, and I actually decided to wear it to school today! I used my red cords and a polk-a-dot button up with a pearl necklace and my smoker flats.
What are some of your fashion tricks?
Good morning! I woke up to snow outside my window this morning! So magical! Now it really feels like Christmas!
Today I wanted to do another budget fashion post for you. For this post, I picked out a popular fashion trend and found were you can get the look for less. I chose the beautiful “Peplum Dress” because it is so elegant and fun. The price tag on this dress can be quite expensive, but I found a really cute version of this dress at Target for much less! This dress would be great for a fun Christmas party or a Christmas Eve service.
You can see the Alice + Olivia dress here and the Target dress here.
Hello! I have a fun kids clothing gift guide for you. I stumbled upon this cute online clothing store awhile back and I have been dying to share it with you! Their kids (and baby) clothing is SO cute and fun! The store is called Noe + Zoe and comes from Berlin, Germany. You can find there online shop here as well as the United States online store that carries their clothing here. I love there bright colors and beautiful stripes! I have a collected a few items from there shop that I am in love with so that you can see some of what they offer.

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Well, it is the middle of the week, and there are only two weeks left until Christmas. Can you believe it?! I am spending my days designing, packaging, crafting and wrapping presents in hopes that I can get everything done in time! But, I have to say, I really don’t mind the Christmas season whirlwind this year. Every year I do the usual Christmas preparation, but this year it feels different. I think I am learning to enjoy all the in-between moments leading up to Christmas just as much as the actual event. Is this a part of growing up? If so, I will take it! How has your Christmas season been treating you?
Today I wanted to share with you one of my little fashion secrets for living on a budget. If I am being honest, sometimes my own wardrobe can start looking pretty shabby compared to all the cute clothes I am buying as Christmas presents for other people. So, today I have a great solution to the “holiday wardrobe blues”. When I am feeling frustrated with my wardrobe, and get the “I don’t have ANYTHING to wear” feeling, I just log onto J. Crew. J.Crew.com has an amazing section called Looks We Love where they style different pieces of their clothing into really cute, unique outfits. Now, this is the fun part – I like to find similar pieces of clothing from my own closet and style them into outfits I would have never thought of before. This way you can get new outfits without even spending a dime! I promise, it works! And, there are many other clothing sites that have similar sections such as Madewell. The above photo is an example of my one my favorite outfits J. Crew styled for the holidays and the below photo is a fun Christmas party outfit from Madewell!

Hello! Tomorrow is Halloween, and I am so excited! What are you dressing up as for Halloween? I think I am going to be a ballerina again this year (I am a ballerina almost every year because wearing the tutu makes me so happy!).
Here are a few things I am crushing on today. Have any of you heard of the Kinfolk magazine before? It’s fabulous! It is a collaboration made by many talented designers and creative folk who have a shared interest in beautiful small gatherings and tasty food. Check it out! Also, I just love this pretty blouse by Madewell.

Happy Monday dear friends! How was your weekend? Jonathan had the weekend off so we decided to celebrate fall in Corvallis. It was fabulous! Lots of pumpkin spice lattes and colorful leaves.
Today I decided to do another clothing color palette. I am loving all the fall fashion in my favorite stores. This outfit is from Anthropologie and I like the colors they put together. And you gotta love the mixing of stripes and polka dots! I also decided to do a little re-design for this column. I hope you like it!

Hi friends! Today is my first day of school! Crazy! I decided to do a back-to-school color palette for you today in honor of my first day. I just love this outfit and I think it is perfect for school. And fall! I like the contrast between the deep red and muted yellow/cream colors. I also think the light pink lipstick is a perfect touch!
